Lets start with Snacks

This was a huge pet peeve for us. The lack of vending machines in the Atlantis hotel. There are absolutely no soda or snack vending machines on the resort. They offer the mini bar in their rooms at 2.50 per soda. You could find canned drinks in a couple of the stores on site for around $2 if you got there before 11pm/10pm depending on the day of the week. But when we vacation we stay up late, we like to play all day and come in late clean up and eat.

This turned out to be a huge problem, to our surprise I had to drink water the first evening until breaking down and drinking from the mini bar. I don't like to be trapped into their system.

We went out the next morning and found a small store across the street and purchased soda's for $1 each and brought them back to the room. I would have happily paid $1 or more to get a soda or snacks from a vending machine but they don't offer that. Kind of strange for a FAMILY resort?
