Family shopping
There could be some more options for average family shopping on paradise island or at the Atlantis. Sure there are some beautiful shops at Atlantis but they are Rodeo drive type places. We did some shopping there and picked up some cigars that were rolled by hand on site by a great gentleman from the local cigar manufacturer.
But if you are looking to normal items or local items that are not plastered with an Atlantis logo you must look hard or go to the straw market in town. The day we went it was terribly hot and the family only lasted about 45 minutes before giving up and heading over to the local hard rock cafe to re-hydrate and head back to the Atlantis pools and beach for the day.
We spent the last day running around trying to find a bag or simple pieve of luggage to take our purchase back on the morning we were leaving. We ended up findins something last minuter accros the street in the some local shop. Although the first bag that we grabbed had a cock roach in it, the second one worked out.
